Part 1
Introduction & Interview
⏱ 4–5 minutes
  • Can you tell me your full name and where you are from?
  • Do you work or are you a student? Tell me about what you do.
  • What do you enjoy most about your hometown?
  • How do you usually spend your free time?
  • Do you prefer spending time indoors or outdoors? Why?
  • How important is social media in your daily life?
Part 2
Individual Long Turn
⏱ 3–4 minutes (1 minute to prepare, then speak for 1–2 minutes)
  • Describe a skill you have learned that you consider very useful.
  • You should say:
  • What the skill is
  • How and when you learned it
  • How often you use it
  • And explain why you think this skill is particularly useful
Part 3
Two-way Discussion
⏱ 4–5 minutes
  • Why do you think some people find it difficult to learn new skills as adults?
  • How has technology changed the way people learn skills today compared to the past?
  • Do you think schools prepare students well enough for the skills needed in the real world?
  • Some people say that practical skills are more valuable than academic knowledge. To what extent do you agree?
  • How might the skills that are considered important change in the next 20 years?
When you're ready, record yourself answering all three parts and send the audio file to our WhatsApp. We will review your recording and send you an estimated band score. For detailed, professional feedback, contact us to book a one-on-one appointment session with an experienced teacher.
